Righter's Auto Repair

I've had nothing but positive interactions with the workers here, they've been very thoughtful and have througly checked any issues that ive addressed. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for a genuine quality place to have their car worked on as compared to the "i can do it cheaper" that would probably cause more out of your pocket as compared to the people who want to do it right. Will come back here anytime I have issues with my vehicle.

I was very pleased with the excellent service I received while getting my oil changed. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable, and the price so reasonable and even included a full inspection of my vehicle. I will definitely be returning if I need any future services on my vehicle! Diane Brabon

Great service! I took it in for an oil change end ended up needing to get multiple repairs I choose to come back to get those repairs done. It did not feel like the repairs they found were to pinch a penny rather they simply we necessary. I was also told what repairs I didn’t need to get done. When I called to schedule an appointment for a week out then ended up getting me in day and gave me a loaner car. In addition they will send a full inspection report with pictures when you take it in so you can understand what needs to be repaired.

I recently brought my car to Righter’s Auto Repair on W. Saginaw, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I called, the staff were friendly, upfront, and professional. They took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, showed me the diagnostic results, and didn’t pressure me into unnecessary repairs. The work was completed quickly, the pricing was fair, and they even kept me updated throughout the process. My car runs better, and I appreciate their honesty and attention to detail. It’s hard to find a shop that you can truly trust these days — but Righter’s definitely earned my trust. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Lansing/Waverly area who wants quality work and great customer service.

EDIT 6 months later. Truck once again had issues and right away I thought about how great righters was the first time. Called them, had my truck towed in and they did their magic finding the problem. Now comes the price. Wow, just wow. It was rather high, if I'm being honest. On pick up, we were asking questions about other things they had found wrong and it felt as though we were bothering him with our questions. I don't think I'll return after this time. I guess each visit has different service. Alternator and battery replaced, $1700+ and to find out, they didn't even secure the bar across my battery when finished. Had a sudden coolant leak and called righters just as they were closing and was told to bring it in bright and early the next day and they'd have a look. They found the problem within a few hours, gave me a great price and I was driving away within 26 hours with a fixed vehicle. They were honest about all issues, whether big or small. Highly recommend!
